Privacy Information
Preliminary Remarks
The protection of your personal data is of utmost importance to us. Therefore, we strictly adhere to the data protection laws of the Federal Republic of Germany and the European Union.
We have implemented various measures to ensure and maintain data protection within our company. In light of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) that took effect on May 25, 2018, we have already aligned our standards with these new guidelines. Additionally, other measures that were part of kruegermedia's data protection efforts before the new regulation remain in place. For example, all employees and contractors of kruegermedia are required to agree to and sign the relevant data protection provisions. These data protection provisions are part of our general terms and conditions, which form the basis of all activities. We secure our websites, products, and databases with appropriate access protection and encryption technologies and adhere to the principle of data minimization when collecting data. Upon request, we will inform you of the data we collect from you, how and for how long we store it, and how we protect it from unauthorized use.
Data Protection Contact
The contact person for data protection is Alexander Krüger, Tel.: +49 6187 47 57 00, Email: info@kruegermedia.de
Contact Forms
To contact our company, we offer several options on our websites. In addition to the possibility of contacting us by phone or email, you can use a contact form to get in touch. The data you enter will be transmitted to us by email and retrieved, stored, and archived using Apple’s mail and backup software. These data are not routinely deleted because there can be several months between the inquiry and the creation of an offer or order, and we may store the data for our newsletter if authorization is given. The fields requested include: company, title, first name, last name, phone number, email address, purpose of contact, contact request, and newsletter preference. It is not necessary to fill out all fields. It is also possible to submit the form with only your name and phone number or email address so that we can get in touch with you, though this may not be very practical.
Accounting/Invoicing
If a formal offer is created, the general terms and conditions of kruegermedia apply. The billing-relevant data are transferred to the central address management, synchronized via Apple iCloud, and thus protected from unauthorized use through Apple ID. Additionally, the data are recorded in accounting, invoicing, and banking software. Data and information regarding business transactions must be retained for at least 10 years for tax purposes. Stored data are secured using Apple Time Machine software and are password protected. We keep accounting data separate from other data, such as print templates or receipt images of your advertisements.
Our tax advisor is
Steuerberatung Schubert |
Am Steinweg 10 |
D-61130 Nidderau (Hessen) |
who receives all relevant accounting data for the preparation of the annual financial statement.
Print Templates/Receipt Images
Print templates provided by clients are stored in the respective client folder, separate from accounting data. Standard deletion does not occur as clients often reuse their templates or may need them years later for advertising purposes. All files are regularly backed up on a password-protected drive using Apple Time Machine.
Data Transmission to Marketers, Service Providers, and Media Companies
kruegermedia is a media agency and advertising intermediary. The nature of our business necessitates the transmission of your data to marketers, service providers, and media companies. This is done in accordance with the principle of data minimization. Marketers and media companies require complete address data with contact persons to legitimize the agency activity and to approve advertising motifs. Most service providers receive only your company name (as it is usually identical to the project name). kruegermedia enters into a data processing agreement (DPA) with all partners. We will gladly inform you of the marketers, service providers, and media companies to whom we transfer your data upon request.
Exceptions to this rule are service providers who require data transmission to fulfill their services, such as shipping companies and financial institutions for payment processing. The extent of the transmitted data is limited to the necessary minimum for service fulfillment.
